BACKGROUND

Alejandra (“Alex”) Contreras-Caballero is a trial attorney with ten years of experience. She started her career as a complex commercial litigator representing businesses and individuals in multi-party cases and class actions suits across the nation.

She has represented banks, airlines, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance companies through all phases of litigation. Prior to joining Smith & Eulo, she worked as a criminal defense attorney with the 8th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s office for three years. She handled thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases, as well as several jury trials. Alex’s experience includes acquittals after a jury trial, the granting of motions to suppress, and dismissals of violation of probation affidavits.

Alejandra is a graduate of the University of Rochester and New York University School of Law. She is fluent in Spanish.
