Rachel is a passion-driven criminal defense attorney, committed to protecting the rights of her clients and providing the zealous advocacy they deserve. She was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan where she graduated from Mona Shores High School in 2014. She went on to attend Hope College in Holland, Michigan where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2018, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science.
Rachel continued her education at Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing, Michigan, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2021. While at MSU Law, she was actively involved in the Housing Law Clinic, Black Law Students Association, Women’s Law Caucus, and MSU Gospel Choir. She also spent multiple semesters on the Dean’s List in recognition of her academic achievement.
In the fall of 2021, Rachel relocated to Orlando, Florida where she began her legal career at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Office of the Public Defender, first serving as a Certified Legal Intern and later as an Assistant Public Defender. Rachel has experience handling both criminal and civil matters. She has represented clients facing a broad range of misdemeanor and felony charges and has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict.
Rachel approaches every case with a commitment to protecting her clients’ constitutional rights and ensuring that they receive zealous and individualized representation. She understands that facing criminal charges can be one of the most stressful and experiences in a person’s life, and she is committed to guiding her clients through the legal process with diligence, compassion, and determination.
